LÉON BEYER
Léon Beyer, located in the heart of Alsace, is one of the region’s oldest wineries, with roots dating back to 1580. The modern estate was founded by Emile Beyer in 1867 and is now led by Marc Beyer and his children, representing the 14th generation. Known for its bone-dry "vin d’gastronomie" style, the wines highlight varietal purity and Alsace’s diverse terroir. Based in Eguisheim, with Grand Cru vineyards like Eichberg and Pfersigberg, Léon Beyer produces both the approachable "Les Classiques" and the prestigious "Les Grandes Cuvées." Certified for high environmental value (HVE), the estate works sustainably with 15 hectares of family vines and 40 more with local growers. Léon Beyer blends tradition, quality, and environmental care—telling a timeless winemaking story in every bottle.
