Here you will find our general terms and conditions. These terms apply to all bookings made through our website. Seperate conditions may apply when booking through a third-party channel. For any questions, please contact: booking@opus16.no
Booking and confirmation: Your booking is binding once it has been confirmed and you have received a booking confirmation. This can be done verbally, in writing or via the booking system. The booking is valid for the number of people stated in the confirmation, regardless of the number of people in the room.
Age limit: To book a room with us you must be over 18 years of age. The hotel may require identification upon arrival and may refuse to check you in if you cannot provide valid identification.
Cancellation: Unless otherwise stated, the booking can be canceled free of charge until 15:00 on the day of arrival. If you do not show up and have not canceled in advance, or you cancel after 15:00, you will be charged the price for the first night. If the hotel has incurred costs due to your booking, you must also cover these.
Changes: You can make changes to your booking free of charge until 15:00 on the day of arrival, unless otherwise specified in your booking confirmation. The possibility to change is subject to hotel availability. You cannot claim the same price for your stay if you change to days where the price is higher.
Early departure: If you have booked a stay for a longer period but want to check out earlier than planned, the hotel must be notified by 12.00 noon on the day you check out. If you check out after this time, you will be charged one extra night.
Check-in and check-out: The hotel is available from 15:00 on the day of arrival. Check-out is by 12:00 noon on the day of departure. Check-in before, or check-out after, these times may be possible for a fee. Please contact reception to inquire about this.
Liability in the event of damage: You as a guest are responsible for any damage caused to the hotel as a result of negligence or irresponsible behavior, and the hotel will require payment for any repair of damage and the like. Our rooms are also non-smoking, and guests who violate the smoking ban will be charged NOK 2,000 at check-out for extra cleaning.
Storage of valuables and luggage: Your valuables can be stored in lockable lockers where available. Luggage can be stored in a locked luggage room. The hotel is not obliged to store items of high value for guests, as this may endanger the safety of guests and staff. The hotel is not responsible for loss or damage to luggage or valuables stored in the hotel room, in locked lockers or in luggage rooms.
